Objective - understand what 'electronic cards' are. Introduction to Flash.

Starter

More people are sending festive messages using the internet than ever before. More companies are producing ainamted cards and adverts. They have a number of advantages, they are cheap and they can be seen all over the world.

Activity 1

We need to set up a background for our card. Open up Macromedia Flash. Use the tutorial on the left. You need to start thinking about the design of your card. Are you going to use a plain colour for the background or are you going to use an image?

Activity 2

Create a folder called 'ecard' on your J drive where you can save all of the work that you do for your Flash project.

Activity 3

Look through the resources folder, copy and paste some resources that you might like to use into your 'ecards' folder. Look on the internet for a suitable selection of images for yourself.
